Cookie blocker tab

In this tab you can setup how cookies are blocked. Here only global cookie blocking options can be setup. To fine-tune cookie blocking you should use cookie filters that are edited in Cookie filters tab.

To open Cookie blocker tab open Ad Annihilator Options window and switch to Cookie blocker tab by clicking on its name.

Following options are available:

• "Enable cookie blocker (block cookies as specified by filters)" - unchecking this option turns off cookie blocking. If it is unchecked, no cookie is blocked at all, cookie filters and other options on this tab have no effect, and Ad Annihilator does not interfere with how cookies are sent or received. If it is checked, all other cookie blocking options and cookie filters work as usual;

• "Open default cookie settings" - opens Default cookie settings window to setup how cookies are blocked by default (for all sites not listed in cookie filters). See What could I do to protect my privacy? for information on recommended default cookie settings;

• "Open cookie filters" button opens Cookie filters tab where you could setup cookie filters. Cookie filters tab opening requires that Ad Annihilator Options window be closed. You will be prompted to save your changes before closing. See Understanding cookie filters to learn more about cookie filters.
